Within our household there resides a cat named Stella. She’s got a personality so big that she’s got her own blog. No, really, she does. It’s called Addicted To Humans. I only allow her to post about once a month because if she had the opportunity, she’d have her paws on here daily. Cuz she’s just that way. Come to think of it I should wake her up and have her do one now, she’s behind.
On second thought, waking up a supremely vocal cat between meals? Um, no. We’ll let her sleep a little longer.
Also within this household resides a guy. We’ll call him, well, Guy. That was easy. He’s the one I wrote the first post for on this blog, or perhaps I should say I posted the sentiment on a card I recently gave him. Yes, he has a name but I think I should allow him his privacy until such time that he says “Feel free to use my first name, no problem.” Now, I said I would withhold his real name but I didn’t say I wouldn’t post a picture of him. He’s a stand-up kind of fellow, with a wonderfully, sarcastic sense of humor who rides a motorcycle – a big one – and I ride with him.
Cakers: Stella, this is not your post, if you feel a need to say something go to your own blog and do so.
And then there’s me, Cakers. ‘Cakers’ is a shortened version of a nickname given me by one of my best friends and she’s been calling me that for over 15 years. I’m a woman in her late forties, who has embarked on a new journey in her life with her guy (that’s Guy to you, dear reader) and her cat. I am a strong, confident, optimistic, forward-looking woman who digs blogging, crafting of all sorts, experimenting in the kitchen, playing board and dice games, goofing with photography and simply enjoying life with her guy, her friends and her family. Life is grand.
